In Matthew 22:41–46, Jesus asks a question so profound that it leaves the religious leaders speechless. They had studied the Scriptures, pursued righteousness, and searched for truth—yet they still hadn’t found what they were looking for. This Sunday, we’ll explore how Jesus is not only the answer to their deepest questions, but ours as well. Join us as we discover why the human heart will never rest until it finds its true King.

If someone asked you to summarize your discipleship in one command, what would you say? In Matthew 22:34–40, Jesus gives a clear and compelling answer: love God with your whole self, and love your neighbor as yourself. This simple answer confounded the scripture experts of that day. This Sunday, we’ll unpack the depth and beauty of the Greatest Commandment and consider what these whole-self expressions of love mean. Our hope is that you come to encounter God through His Word.

This Sunday we will look at an interesting passage where religious leaders try to trap Jesus again. They bring up an interesting scenario regarding marriage at the resurrection. Though we may think this passage is about that topic, it is actually about so much more. Jesus teaches us, and the Sadducees, how important it is to carefully read God's word and all its truth to impact our lives and see the power of God.

This Sunday, we’ll step into one of Jesus’ most compelling parables. Matthew 22:1–14 is a story of wooing and warning. The invitation of the gospel is wider than we often imagine, reaching out to the unlikely, the outsider, and the undeserving. But woven into that beautiful welcome is a sobering warning: we must respond to the King on His terms. Join us as we explore both the breathtaking grace that invites us in and the honest truth that calls us to be truly changed. You won’t want to miss this powerful and searching word from Jesus.

If you know anyone who has been a landlord, you know they hit or miss on tenants. In this week's text, Jesus is letting the current tenants know the landlord is kicking them out and bringing in new ones. These tenants of the kingdom will do four things the current ones are not: accept Jesus' authority, do the Father's will, keep Christ as their cornerstone, and produce kingdom fruit. Come and hear about how you can be the tenant God desires for His Kingdom!

What does it look like to be a person of God’s Word—not just to believe it, but to live it? Jesus doesn’t simply teach God’s promises—He fulfills them. Every step He takes into Jerusalem, every action in the temple, every word He speaks reveals a life perfectly aligned with what God has said. Jesus is not just a man of His word—He is a man of God’s Word. And in Him, we see what true obedience looks like. Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means for us to live as people shaped, guided, and faithful to God’s Word.

Have you ever been in a place where someone of great position and stature walked into the room and completely changed the dynamic of it? Even though this week's passage is just six verses, we will see a figure that looms large: The person of Jesus Christ. Matthew shows us how there is power in His presence and gives disciples of Jesus clues as to how we ought to emulate His life. Because if there is power in His presence, and His Holy Spirit lives in us, there ought to be power in our presence too.

What do you want? Answered honestly, that question reveals a great deal about who we are. As Jesus prepares for the cross in Matthew 20:17–28, his disciples are still wanting power and glory. Their request reveals a deep human longing—to matter, to be great, to have significance. But Jesus answers them with a startling truth: the path to true greatness runs through humility and service, just as it did for him. Jesus’ disciples do not ascend to greatness; we descend to greatness. Join us this Sunday as we discover how Jesus transforms our ambitions and shows us the life we were truly made for.

This Sunday we’ll explore Jesus’ surprising parable of the workers in the vineyard in Matthew 20:1–16. When workers who labored all day receive the same pay as those who worked only an hour, it sparks grumbling and raises a question many of us wrestle with: what is truly fair? Jesus uses this story to expose the danger of comparison and to reveal the surprising generosity of God’s grace. Join us as we consider how comparison can rob us of joy—and how life in God’s kingdom invites us into something far better.

People have different ways of doing things. Whether that be a task or a job, there is more than one way to accomplish them. When it comes to the topic of salvation, there are truly only two ways people approach it: Man's Way or God's Way. This Sunday we will look at Jesus' interaction with the rich young ruler where he will attempt to achieve salvation man's way but Jesus will point him to the reality that salvation can only happen God's way. Come learn the difference between the two and why God's way is best.

We often ask the wrong questions. Fortunately, Jesus always answers the right question. This Sunday we will look at a group of people trying to trap Jesus with a question about divorce. This is an extremely important question, but not the first one we should be asking. Come hear how Jesus eventually answers their question, but not before answering the question they should've asked, “What is God's vision for marriage?”

We know forgiveness is important. But when the wound is deep, forgiveness feels impossible. Yet, Jesus confronts our instincts about fairness, justice, and repayment. In Matthew 18:21–35, we encounter a story of staggering debt, shocking mercy, and a sobering warning. This Sunday we will explore Why and How We Forgive—not as a sentimental ideal, but as a gospel-shaped necessity. If we have been forgiven an unpayable debt, what does that mean for the grudges we carry? Join us as we consider the freedom, the cost, and the power of forgiveness in the kingdom of heaven.

Conflict is common. Disagreement is diffuse. But rather than being exclusively bad, what if Jesus wants to use our conflict to cement community? What if how we navigate disagreement and reconcile conflict is how the world will know the church? What if how we pursue, protect, and restore one another witnesses to the wider world? What if God really works all things toward good? Join us this Sunday and see the opportunity Jesus saw in our inevitable conflicts.

The world's standard of greatness is often defined by one's position, status, and accomplishments. In chapter 18 of Matthew, the disciples get caught up defining greatness according to these same standards but Jesus uses this moment to teach them what greatness actually looks like in God's Kingdom. Let me give you a hint: It's not the way the world defines it. Come this Sunday to hear how Jesus defines greatness according to God.

Jesus and His disciples descend from the mountaintop glory of the Transfiguration and abruptly find themselves back in the valley. There they confront a child’s illness, the disciples’ frustration in ministry, a parent’s unanswered prayers, and even Jesus’ own grief and frustration. And if that were not enough, they are suddenly faced with paying taxes too! Join us this Sunday as we learn from Jesus how to live faithfully at the bottom of the mountain.

Have you ever had a moment when God felt unmistakably near—clear, powerful, unforgettable—only to find yourself back in the ordinary rhythms of life days later? This Sunday we’ll journey with Jesus and His disciples up the mountain in Matthew 17:1–13 and explore why God gives “mountaintop experiences.” God reveals Himself not just to amaze us, but to prepare us—to strengthen our faith for the valleys, the routines, and the real work of living for Him in our day to day lives. Have you ever done something that sounded so simple yet found out was quite complicated? Believe it or not, that's the Christian life! When Jesus commands His disciples to "Follow Me," we understand the command at face value but doing it is a different story altogether. This Sunday we will look at Jesus teaching His disciples three things: 1) The resistance to follow Jesus, 2) the requirements to follow Jesus, and 3) the reasons to follow Jesus. This teaching is designed to let the disciples know up front that though following Him is easy to understand, it's actually hard to do, but in the end will be totally worth it.
