Sunday, October 29th,
Bricks without straw, work without worship. That's what life in Egypt is for the Israelites after Moses confronts Pharaoh. In Exodus 5, we see just how different Pharaoh is from God - and Israel learns what life is like completely under Pharaoh's rule: burdensome and backbreaking work. You can never earn what other gods require from you, and worship of things other than God will leave you empty because God designed us to worship HIM, not anything else. This week, we see that there is no god like the Lord, God of Israel.

Sunday, October 1st,
The book of Exodus is filled with awesome moments of God working in the life of his people. He is splitting the Red Sea, turning rivers to blood, and displaying His power in the heavens. However, chapter 2 of Exodus gives us a less dramatic perspective of how God also works in the life of his people: subtly and surely. These subtle moments are how He moves in us as a people and we’ll see how He does that in the life of Israel this Sunday.

Sunday, October 24th,
It’s gonna get worse before it gets better.” This is how Exodus starts for Israel. Israel only spends a few verses being fruitful and multiplying before their oppression begins. Their oppressor, Pharaoh, strikes fear in many and intends to snuff them out. In spite of his tyranny, Israel fears God more than Pharaoh. Join us as we launch our series through Exodus and learn from Israel’s decision to fear God more than anything else

Sunday, September 10th,
As we look around at the world today, we can't help but cry out "injustice!" and "violence!" This same lament came from the lips of the prophet Habakkuk towards God. God's plan for dealing with the injustice leaves the prophet puzzled. Yet we will see how God's ways are higher than our ways and as God's people we must learn to have faith like Habakkuk.

Sunday, September 3rd
Popular culture has given us many different ideas of what heaven is about. Some people think it's just a cool party. Others believe they will sit on clouds and play harps all day. However, the Bible gives us a better picture of heaven, particularly what heaven is all about. Or rather, who heaven is about. This Sunday we will see that heaven is about a person not a place, what we're preparing for, and only possible because of Jesus.

The beauty of the Psalms lies in their honesty. They show the real experience of following God through the ups and downs of faith. Sunday, July 30th,
This Sunday we will ask and answer the question "Who Told You That?" This question was first asked of Adam and Eve in the garden immediately after the Fall. This question did not cease with them but it is the question God continues to ask us. Every day the enemy whispers lies into our hearts and we believe those lies though God has given us truth. This account in Genesis 3 will teach us how to see our daily battle with sin and equip us with ways to combat it.
